Project: Private House Conversion
Status: Completed December 2003
Location: Willoughby Road, London NW3
Client: Mr & Mrs Fricker
Contract Value: £180,000

This large terrace house in Hampstead is located close to the heath. It was converted into three separate flats by Hans Haenlein Architects in the 70s.

In 2003 the Ground Floor Flat and Upper Maisonette were recombined into one spacious three-storey family home. Special attention had to be paid to the soundproofing between the Ground Floor and the Basement Flat.

The First Floor has been arranged with an open-plan Kitchen and Day Room leading directly into the Dining Room. From the landing there is access to a new balcony overlooking beautiful gardens.
